Why "zOOm"?

“zOOm” is a contemporary, exciting photographic business.  “zOOm” was launched in 2006 and offers a professional, individual service with the emphasis on being creative, having fun and producing unique photographs for every client.

Wedding photography is very exciting and gives an opportunity to be innovative in my work. Every bride, groom and their party makes for a unique wedding and photographing the event produces a wide range of images which reflect the atmosphere of the day. Composing the wedding album presents a great chance to use creative skills and, using a range of techniques and working alongside my clients, I present exclusive albums which are real treasures for the future.  

Portraiture is fascinating and I enjoy capturing moments which reveal personality. I favour reportage style photography, allowing people to be natural, relaxed and unaware of the camera. This produces spontaneous images which reflect real people and their character. There are also occasions for more formal portraiture work and the challenge then is to create an atmosphere of informality and ease to get the best shots.

I meet with all my clients prior to a photographic session to establish a good rapport, making for an enjoyable time in front of the camera.
